One app, one line on your Shopify invoice. Features scale by tier. Stores scale within a tier, at a rate that falls as you add more, until they stop costing anything at all.
Prices in USD, excluding tax. Charges are collected by Shopify through the Billing API and appear on your existing Shopify invoice. Changing plan takes effect immediately and Shopify prorates the difference. Subscriptions are non-refundable.
Every tier includes one store. After that you pay per store at a rate that falls four times and then stops entirely — on Growth the total reaches $710 a month at 100 stores and does not rise again. There is no limit on how many stores you connect, on any plan.
An optional add-on on every paid plan. The $9 buys the work — reading your catalogue nightly, encrypting it, keeping the schedule and the restore engine. The only part that varies is storage, and it follows two numbers you set: how big your catalogue is and how many restore points you keep.
a store each month. Fixed for the period, set when it opens.
of encrypted storage included, per store. Core’s 7 restore points fit inside it, and it does not pool across stores.
a GB above 2 GB, charged on the period's peak. Nothing if you use your own Drive.
to restore, however many times. Restores are never charged.
Backups cover catalogue data. Orders, customers, theme code and other apps' data are not copied and cannot be restored — what restore does, in full.
Through Shopify's Billing API. You approve the charge inside your admin once; after that it appears on the same invoice as your Shopify subscription. We never see or store your card.
Upgrades apply immediately and Shopify prorates the remaining period. Downgrades apply immediately too, so check the retention column first: dropping from Growth to Core shortens your history window from 90 days to 30, and anything older stops being readable.
One preview that you apply. A rule stack that changes price, rounds it and adds a tag across 892 variants is one job, not three, and not 892.
No published variant or job limit. There is a fair-use ceiling on sustained API volume, described in the terms; we contact you before doing anything about it.
Each tier includes one store. Additional stores are charged per store at a rate that falls as you add more — on Growth, $19 each for stores 2–5, $14 for 6–10, $10 for 11–25, then $5 each up to your hundredth store. Past 100 stores each one is $0, so the total stops rising at $710 a month however many you add. There is no limit on how many stores you connect. Adding a store changes your total from your next cycle, never mid-cycle, and removing one reduces it from the next cycle too.
Yes — 1¢ for each description generated, on the plans that include it. Two things are free and they cover most of a catalogue: an image already described is reused wherever it appears again at no charge, and a description you reject is never written and never charged. You set your own monthly limit, we never charge past it, and a job that would exceed it asks you first. Every estimate you see is a maximum.
$9 per store per month, which includes 2 GB of encrypted storage for that store — enough for the 7 restore points Core keeps, so the entry configuration costs the headline price. Above 2 GB it is 40¢ per GB, measured daily and charged on the period’s peak. Writing backups to your own Google Drive or Dropbox removes the per-GB part entirely, and restores are never charged. The included 2 GB is per store and does not pool across an organisation, so each store’s cost is answerable on its own.
No. The add-on needs a paid plan, and how far back you can restore follows the tier: 7 restore points on Core, 30 on Growth, 90 on Scale and Compliance. Everything else about it — the encryption, the destinations, who holds the key, the restore preview — is the same on every paid tier.
The agency. One store carries the subscription and the connected stores install BulkGauge on the free plan, inheriting the features. A client store is never charged for being connected, and never sees your invoice.
Yes. The alt text coverage audit and the metafield 16 KB size check are read-only — they write nothing to your store — and they run on every plan including Free. Fixing what they find is what the paid tiers are for.
No. Additional stores, AI alt text and backup storage are charged as you use them, and Shopify's billing requires a 30-day term for anything charged that way — so every paid plan is monthly. Your plan, your stores and any AI alt text arrive as one charge on your existing Shopify invoice.
No. That is a deliberate policy, not an oversight — the free plan is there so the decision happens before the payment. Read the no-refund policy for the two narrow exceptions we do honour.
Both catalogue scans, 50 variants a job, 3 jobs a month, 7-day undo. Enough to test the thing that matters.
